Stuff I Love… and a Gift for You!

Hello Travelers

The end of 2011 is approaching, the holiday season is here, and with it come feelings of peace, joy, and goodwill towards men, right?

In many cases all of those good feelings are accompanied by bouts of annoyance, stress, and bad words!

So in my round up of link love, I have things that will help you stay sane, take stock and move forward, and get thoughtful gifts for creative people.

But first…I have a gift for you!

To help combat the grinchiness that can pop up and keep you from enjoying the holidays, I have created a little kit for you.

Introducing…. The Grinch Jar!

Just click on the link (or the button in the sidebar) and it will take you to the download page for your gift.

And if you want to reduce the stress of the holiday season (and thus have less grinchings for your jar!), check out my holiday ebook…Over the River and Through the Woods: Your Map for Making it through the Holidays.

It’s chock full of planning pages and worksheets to help you get the most out of the holidays… without going crazy. I know we could all use a lot less crazy around this time of year, so please check it out!

Now onto the linky goodness!

Everything in this list is something I whole heartedly recommend.  Some have affiliate links but I will put a little star by those so that you know. But I promise I wouldn’t endorse something I didn’t love myself.

Staying Sane

First up, the beautiful Sara at SoulSpackle  is kicking off a whole month of spirit boosting loveliness with her 31 Days of Soul Medicine. It kicks off on December 1st , and it’s free so sign up and get a daily  hit of soul medicine.  She also has a beautiful story about how it all came about right here.

Next up is a fantastic ecourse from art therapist Petrea Hansen Adamidis called Dream Dialogues. In this e-course, Petrea will use creative methods to help you dive deep into the wisdom of your dreams. Now, I don’t know about you, but my dreams lately have been extra vivid with a lot of information packed in them. If you are experiencing a lot of vivid dreaming this course could be just the ticket to getting the wisdom out of them.

Sometimes one of the things that helps keep me sane is knowing that I have a community of support to back me up.  For solopreneurs and small business folks I recommend the Brand Harmony Business Community. I have been a member of this community  for over 6 months, and I am always amazed by the generosity of spirit and knowledge that the members have. For me it has been well worth the price!

Now let’s take stock and plan ahead

There are three awesome planners out right now, so I would encourage you to check them all out and see which you like best! Or, if you are like me, you can take all three and mix and match them in one big binder!

Michelle at Let’s Radiate has an awesome 2012 workbook and planner pack* for the small business person, They take you from Big picture right down to the details. My favorite thing about them is the reminder to plan some self-care into your day (some in the form of tea breaks, which coincidentally are also Michelle’s favorite part of the planners)!

The Headologist, Elli Di, has the 2012 Headologist Yearbook available, which is full of awesome worksheets for figuring out the best and worst of 2011, and using it to make 2012 even better! It also has a calendar that includes all sorts of fun holidays.

And over at GoddessGuidebook.com, Leonie has unveiled the 2012 Creating Your Goddess Year Workbook*. It’s a bright and beautiful 100 page workbook full of Leonie’s vibrant illustration and lots of activities to make your year amazing.

And, finally, for your gift giving pleasure

Elli over at The Wishkeeper Creativity Collective, has written up a fantastic gift giving guide to help you pick the perfect gift for the crazy creative on your list.

Delisa from The Creativity Rebellion has two etsy shops full of goodies, Spiraling Elements for handmade jewelry and Spotted Mushroom for yummy soaps.

You can find amazing hand bound journals and photography at Robyn’s Art, also on etsy.

And, don’t forget, I am offering Life Keys gift certificates for the holidays!

I highly encourage and support buying your holiday gifts from independent artisans or local shops this year! Lets keep the local and artisan economy going.

Enjoy exploring all of the links!

Great resource roundup, Tina – I’ve left a comment over on the Grinch Jar post as well. I’ve checked out all three 2012 planners (and they’re all pretty awesome in different ways: I love how they all complement each other) – and Elli’s guide is pretty awesome as well!
